Gifts Ungiven

What a newsworthy day.

Moose didn't compose any new symphonies while I was out at work. But during that time he went on a tasting spree which may provide some insight into what he does and doesn't find palatable.

This ornament had a few solid munches on it:
But wax, glue, and glitter didn't quite meet his standards.

Reconstructing the original shows that only a small strip of glittery glue was actually consumed. On the plus side, if we see a glittery arrangement later, we'll have an almost precise timeline for it.
In exceedingly positive news, Moose also tore open a packet of Christmas light spares. This is what I recovered from the couch and floor. Two fuses and four spares - exactly the same quantity as the unopened packet wedged beside the cushion.

If he's clever enough not to eat fuses, maybe he's smart enough to avoid magnets as well.

#2s, number 2 and 3

The poopies are here! By George, Moose! You ol' rascal.

Two new deuces, and so close together, too. I think one came last night, and another this morning. Both are hard as rocks, which explains the long delay. I'll post a full autopsy after work.

---UPDATE---

Had a chance to break these apart. One of the two was practically made of rubber. Despite the fact that it was second to appear, I wouldn't be surprised if it predated the slurry found Dec. 27th.

No magnets. Also, I don't think peanut came from Moose.

Post-holiday poop found!

Good news, everyone! We have a confirmed bowel movement.

Details at https://imgur.com/VFH8Xeq, but be warned it's a bit soupy.

Slopped it around a bit, and didn't find any magnets.

This might mean the post-holiday dry spell was just a tired dog that needed to nap more than he needed to snack.
